I first watched Beowulf three years ago; yesterday, I watched it again. The movie is still a favorite. Though Beowulf first started with some sort of lie, he did make himself a hero in the end.

'My fav part is when he is about to kill the dragon and drops the sword in the dragons mouth, and his arm is severed and the other arm burnt, and it looks like its the end for his queen and mistress, and himself, then it goes back to him and it plays that music from the beginning of the movie and he does one last leap with just his hand to kill the dragon. It gives me goosebumps to watch it. I think that part right there defines Beowulf.'
